BESCOM to cut power in select Bengaluru areas on July 26

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company will cut power in select areas of Bengaluru on July 26, from 10 am to 5 pm, for maintenance work.

The outage covers New KHB Colony, Bande Mutt, Sachidananda Nagar and Hoysala Circle, along with layouts served by the Tavarekere and Byadarahalli substations.

During this period, BESCOM teams will carry out line strengthening and replace switchgear in the affected areas.

Residents can follow real-time updates on the outage through the BESCOM Mithra app or by calling the 1912 helpline.

BESCOM regularly conducts such scheduled maintenance outages across parts of the city as part of its infrastructure upkeep.
