EventBeep was founded in 2019 as a student community and campus-engagement platform. The company sought to connect students with peers, activities and opportunities through a mobile application, later using the shorter Beep identity.

The founders appeared on Shark Tank India Season 1 asking for ₹30 lakh for 2% equity. Aman Gupta, Ashneer Grover and Peyush Bansal agreed to invest ₹30 lakh for 3%, giving the company the requested capital at a lower valuation.

The platform continued operating and raised additional funding beyond the programme. Funding databases record several rounds, including a seed transaction in February 2026 involving Knowhere Capital and other investors, although total funding estimates vary between databases.

Inc42’s filing-derived profile reports FY2025 revenue of ₹1.5 crore, up 66.8% from ₹90.2 lakh in FY2024. It also reports total expenses of ₹5.7 crore and a net loss of ₹4.2 crore for FY2025.

The result illustrates why revenue growth and financial health must be reported separately. EventBeep expanded its top line, but expenses remained far above revenue and the loss was nearly three times annual sales. The latest figures do not establish profitability.

The verified journey is from an early campus app to a funded consumer-technology company with rising revenue and significant losses. As of August 25, 2026, EventBeep remains active and has raised new capital, while its latest accounts show ₹1.5 crore revenue and a ₹4.2 crore FY2025 loss.

The reported total assets of ₹29.4 lakh were also below the annual loss, according to Inc42’s summary. That comparison does not by itself establish insolvency because funding timing, liabilities and post-balance-sheet capital are relevant. It does show why the February 2026 financing should be reported separately from FY2025 operating performance rather than treated as sales.

The later financing demonstrates investor support but does not revise the filed FY2025 loss or revenue figures.
