Deepthi Nathala founded HECOLL, short for Healthy Cover for All, around treated cotton fabrics intended for protective clothing and institutional applications. The Hyderabad business operated through Dibbu Solutions Private Limited and marketed fabric and stitched products including masks and medical garments.

HECOLL entered Shark Tank India Season 1 asking for ₹1 crore for 1% equity. The company did not receive an investment. During the pitch, the founder reported ₹1.07 crore in sales, with most revenue coming from business-to-business fabric transactions rather than direct consumer sales.

Product-performance statements included pollution filtration, ultraviolet protection and antimicrobial properties. Those are technical claims made by the company and associated profiles; this article does not independently validate medical effectiveness or present the fabric as a substitute for regulated protective equipment.

Post-show reporting is inconsistent. Some later promotional profiles describe HECOLL as continuing, while a Shark Tank India Club investigation says the company went out of business in 2021 and that the founder moved to another venture. The original commercial presence is no longer available as a clearly active brand operation.

Because registry status and trading activity are different questions, old product listings do not prove current operations. No newer audited revenue filing or active official sales channel was located that would substantiate claims of continuing growth after the show.

The most cautious conclusion is that HECOLL reached ₹1.07 crore reported sales before its no-deal pitch but did not establish a continuing public operation. As of August 25, 2026, available evidence supports reporting the original business as closed, while noting that some secondary pages have not updated their descriptions.

HECOLL’s case also requires separating the product concept from the company that commercialised it. Patents, laboratory work or the founder’s later activity may continue even when a particular retail brand stops trading. No evidence reviewed here connects current sales by another venture to the original HECOLL accounts, so those activities are not counted as post-show company revenue.
