A 35-run win over Zimbabwe in the third T20I at Harare Sports Club on Sunday sealed a 3-0 series sweep for India. Batting first, India put up 192/5, and restricted Zimbabwe to 157/7 in their chase of 193.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was again the leading contributor with the bat, scoring 81 off 49 balls. It capped a strong series for the 15-year-old opener, who had made a maiden T20I fifty off 18 balls in the first match and 20 off 9 balls in the second.

The innings made Sooryavanshi the first player from a full-member Test nation to score two international fifties before the age of 16.

Mayank Yadav backed the total with the ball, taking 3 for 29 to keep Zimbabwe’s run rate under pressure for most of their innings.

India’s T20I sweep follows a 3-0 result in the ODI series earlier in the tour, meaning Zimbabwe were beaten 3-0 in both formats played on the trip.
