Beyond Snack was founded in Kerala to produce packaged banana chips with standardised slicing, frying and flavouring. The company used a branded fast-moving consumer goods model to take a regional snack into modern retail and online distribution.
Founder Manas Madhu appeared on Shark Tank India Season 1 asking for ₹50 lakh for 2.5% equity. Aman Gupta and Ashneer Grover agreed to the same amount and equity share, preserving the valuation proposed in the pitch.
Beyond Snack expanded its retail presence after the programme and added funding beyond the televised investment. In January 2025, the company announced a Series A round involving 12 Flags, NAB Ventures, Enrission India Capital, Faad Network and other investors.
Inc42’s filing-derived profile reports FY2025 revenue of approximately ₹52.9 crore, a rise of about 54.9% from the preceding year. A separate financial summary places FY2024 revenue around ₹34.2 crore, making the annual comparison broadly consistent.
Revenue growth does not by itself establish profitability, and public summaries reviewed for this article do not provide a complete FY2025 profit figure. Funding totals also vary between databases because they apply different currency conversions and round definitions.
The clear operational comparison is substantial. Beyond Snack moved from an early packaged-banana-chip brand to a funded national consumer business reporting more than ₹52 crore annual revenue. As of August 25, 2026, its online store remains active, and FY2025 is the latest located filing-based revenue benchmark.
The company’s growth also includes movement beyond Kerala-focused distribution into broader retail and ecommerce channels. The January 2025 capital round was announced as support for supply-chain and market expansion. Those plans describe intended use of funding, however, and should not be read as proof that every geographic or manufacturing target was completed within the same financial year.
The ₹52.9 crore figure relates to the operating company’s reported annual revenue and is not a valuation, funding amount or retail gross merchandise estimate.
