La Kheer Deli was founded in Pune by Shivang Sood, Sonia Sood and Shivika Sood around packaged kheer in multiple flavours. The business sold the traditional Indian dessert through retail and delivery channels and explored premixes as a longer-life format.
The founders appeared on Shark Tank India Season 1 seeking ₹50 lakh for 7.5% equity. Anupam Mittal proposed an investment tied to a stronger premix focus, but the negotiation ended without a completed deal after the founders countered the offered terms.
During the pitch, the founders said the company had served more than 4 lakh cups. They also reported a recent monthly revenue of approximately ₹6 lakh and a peak month of ₹15 lakh. These were founder-supplied figures from the television period, not later audited results.
Post-show reporting says La Kheer Deli received an initial visibility boost but ceased operating in 2021. The original website is no longer functioning as an active sales channel, and the founders’ later public activity does not establish a continuation of the same dessert company.
Businesses with similar kheer products or names should not be counted as successors without a legal or founder connection. No registry-derived later revenue or verified acquisition was located that would indicate the Shark Tank company resumed under another owner.
The before-and-now comparison is therefore a closed-company outcome. La Kheer Deli reached meaningful consumer volume before television and entered the tank seeking expansion capital, but it left without a deal and later stopped trading. As of August 25, 2026, no active official operation has been verified.
The closure also means the founders’ pre-show cup count should not be projected forward. More than 4 lakh cups represented cumulative historical service at the time of the pitch, not a recurring annual sales rate. The short refrigerated shelf life discussed on the programme remained a material operating constraint, while the proposed premix route was not developed into a verified continuing business.
