House of Chikankari entered Shark Tank India Season 2 as a direct-to-consumer ethnicwear company built around traditional chikankari embroidery. Founders Aakriti Rawal and Poonam Rawal asked for ₹75 lakh for 1% equity, implying a ₹75 crore valuation.
The founders accepted ₹75 lakh for 3.75% equity. The announced terms delivered the requested capital and placed the business at a ₹20 crore post-money valuation.
The company says it has expanded beyond chikankari into crafts including Kashmiri embroidery, ikat and hand-block printing. Its official story reports more than 2 lakh supporters, over 10,000 artisans and a team of more than 80 people.
Inc42 reports FY2025 revenue of ₹28.9 crore, up 6.8% from ₹27 crore in FY2024. The company also says it raised a seed round in 2025 from investors including Peyush Bansal and other angel and venture participants.
The before-and-after comparison shows both financial and operational development. During the pitch, the founders reported ₹33 lakh in FY2022 revenue and ₹3.3 crore for the first half of FY2023. FY2025 revenue was subsequently reported at nearly ₹29 crore.
Revenue figures do not by themselves establish cash flow or valuation. Although the company says it has remained profitable, complete audited financial statements and the final ownership terms of all funding rounds were not reviewed for this report.
As of August 25, 2026, House of Chikankari is an active ethnicwear company with reported FY2025 revenue of ₹28.9 crore, a wider craft portfolio and a five-figure artisan network.
